Peter Jonathan Fenstermacher lost his battle against cancer on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Peter was born on February 12, 1960 in Fall River, MA, to the late Earl and Frances (Lawrence) Fenstermacher.

Peter leaves behind a wife he adored, Roberta L. (Greeno) Fenstermacher and three children he was so proud of: Dr. Elizabeth Anne Fenstermacher, Alexander Paul Fenstermacher and Benjamin Henry Fenstermacher. Peter also leaves behind his beloved grandson, Sven.

He retired from the Air Force, as a Master Sergeant, after 21 years of proud service and also worked at Cape...

Peter Jonathan Fenstermacher lost his battle against cancer on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Peter was born on February 12, 1960 in Fall River, MA, to the late Earl and Frances (Lawrence) Fenstermacher.

Peter leaves behind a wife he adored, Roberta L. (Greeno) Fenstermacher and three children he was so proud of: Dr. Elizabeth Anne Fenstermacher, Alexander Paul Fenstermacher and Benjamin Henry Fenstermacher. Peter also leaves behind his beloved grandson, Sven.

He retired from the Air Force, as a Master Sergeant, after 21 years of proud service and also worked at Cape Cod Central Railroad. Peter earned an associate degree in both Air and Space Technology and Electronic Systems Technology. Peter's favorite saying in life was "Life is what you make of it, so, make it a good one". Peter lived by that saying and made the best of every day. Peter enjoyed driving around in his 57' Chevy, brewing beer but most of all, spending time with his family and friends.

Peter had six siblings, Gretel, Mary Ann, Earl, Gregory, Susan and the late George Fenstermacher. Peter leaves behind many in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews all whom he loved very much. Peter belonged to CCLAMS, American Legion Post 188 and Bourne VFW.

His visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 14th, 2017 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. to proceed in procession to the Massachusetts National Cemetery for committal prayers and military honors.
